Description

Ipomoea Crimson Rambler is an annual climbing plant that can reach a height of up to 3m (10ft). This captivating plant produces large funnel-shaped flowers (3 to 5 flowers) in purple with white throat. These leaves measure from 4 to 10 cm (2 to 4in) in length and are ovate to cordate (heart-shaped). They are pale to medium green in colour.

Ipomoea has dense vegetation and is perfect for beneficial groundcover or annual flower beds. It is highly toxic (do not ingest). It is a single flower that can survive temperatures down to 7°C (44.6°F).

Ipomoea rubrocaerulea is originally from Central and South America. Ipomoea attracts butterflies and prefers full sun.
