Our melliferous flower seeds. Flowers rich in nectar and pollen such as Phacelia, Cosmos, and Love-in-a-Mist  turn the garden into a sanctuary and pantry for bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. These plants combine ecological with ornamental purpose, creating vibrant flower beds, borders, flowering meadows, or planters.
The fallow lands and flowering meadows are mixtures of annuals or perennials valuable to bees and other pollinators. The Organic Bee-Friendly Flower Mix combines many highly attractive wild annuals (Cornflower, Poppies, Cosmos Sensation, Common Mallow, Corncockles, Sunflowers, Zinnias…) that bloom until the first frosts. The Melliferous Seed Mix for Bees is a blend of 27 perennial and annual plants including borage, coriander, Chinese forget-me-nots, and buckwheat. The Marigolds or Calendula and many Lamiaceae like Nepeta cataria also have flowering periods highly beneficial to pollinators.

These seeds can be sown from March to May or in September, directly in situ, in loosened soil cleared of weeds or adventive plants. Regular watering after sowing and during early growth will promote germination. Light mowing at the end of the season allows some perennials and annuals to self-seed and establish themselves permanently.
