The 90mm (4in) Archimedes auger by Polet is a manual drill specifically designed to make 90mm (4in) diameter holes even in rocky soils. These holes are used for both planting stakes when constructing a fence and for planting small plants such as potted perennials and bulbs. It is made of brightly lacquered red carbon steel and has a comfortable 45cm (18in) T-shaped handle. Archimedes augers are particularly resistant to wear, making them suitable for frequent use. They are especially useful in gardens with difficult-to-dig soils, where they enable easy and quick planting of perennials and small bushes without getting tired. Measuring 106cm (42in) long, the tool prevents bending or kneeling. It has a 2-year warranty.

Augurs are manual drills used to make small diameter planting holes in difficult-to-dig soils such as clay soils, compacted soils, or hard and stony soils. Equipped with a T-shaped handle that easily moves the pointed screw-shaped end. It is turned with both hands and pushed into the soil at the same time, like a large screw. Continue until the auger has reached the desired depth and then remove. These holes are then used for planting stakes, supports, perennials, and small bushes. This model is equipped with a more robust and long-lasting Archimedes screw, which has the advantage of working better in rocky soils than standard screws. Its particular shape easily removes coarse materials. The tool is entirely made of metal and is recyclable. It comes with a 2-year warranty from the manufacturer.
