The 16cm (6in) NaturOvert Leborgne Garden Hoe is equipped with a double head, featuring a rake and a hoe. It is a versatile tool that will find many uses in the garden. It is a high-quality product, which emphasises the robustness of the materials and the finishing of the assemblies. Its extra-long handle lets the user work standing up, thus limiting strain on the back. Ideal for loosening and aerating the soil on the surface, weeding, and hilling, it will accompany the gardener for many years.

This model consists of a long 150cm (59in) wooden handle, the end of which is drilled to facilitate storage. It has a reinforced tubular socket, where the 16cm (6in) wide head made of a 2mm thick, 38-42 HRC hardened steel blade is attached, sharpened on 3 sides. It is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion. The NaturOvert hoe head has one side for weeding the toughest weeds, two narrower side faces for breaking up the soil crust, and a serrated side for collecting cut weeds and levelling. It is a two-in-one tool for weeding in hard soils, paths, and flat surfaces. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable. This tool, assembled in France, is guaranteed for 15 years by the manufacturer.

The hoe is an essential tool in the garden, designed both for weeding without resorting to the use of chemicals, and for working topsoil. Hoeing has been part of the gardener's vocabulary since the Middle Ages, with hoeing meaning "doing twice". After hoeing, which involves cutting the weeds cleanly at the neck, the gardener uses the hoe for the second time to dislodge their roots, as well as to loosen and aerate the surface layer of soil. This aerates the soil around the cultivated plants in the vegetable garden or ornamental garden. The old saying, "one hoeing is worth two waterings", is worth following. Clayey or loamy soil tends to harden when drying, forming what is called a compacted crust that is very difficult to rehydrate and suffocating for plants, while also leading to water evaporation. Breaking this crust after watering limits water evaporation.

The Leborgne company designs, manufactures, and sells tools whose quality is the result of more than 175 years of expertise. The brand has built a solid reputation among professionals and amateur gardeners. It is one of the last garden tool brands to maintain manufacturing in the French territory. Its high-quality production and constant innovation capacity have succeeded in retaining a demanding clientele.

The NaturOvert range brings together professional-quality tools for natural gardening.

This tool is under warranty. This warranty only applies to the metal parts, except consumables (screws, springs, etc.), and within the scope of normal use. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips.

Directions for use The hoe is an essential tool, designed for weeding and for working the surface of the soil. After digging or hoeing, which means cutting the weeds sharply at the neck, the gardener uses the hoe to dislodge their roots. Hoes also loosen and aerate soil. The head can be used for hilling and raking. This model is suitable for weeding in hard soils, paths, and flat surfaces. Clean your tool after use and store it away from sunlight and bad weather.
