Traditional De Pypere rose fork
It is a sensational tool that allows for effortless weeding and loosening of soil. I recommend it for clay-limestone soils.

This traditional De Pypere rose fork, equipped with an ash handle, has a 2-pointed sharp head that allows you to work the soil in shrub, tree, and climbing plant beds, even if they are planted close together. Its ergonomic, T-shaped handle provides a good grip. Its head is hand-forged from steel, with a boron steel finish. Durable, easy to handle, and robust, it is a well-made tool that will last for many years.
Dimensions: head: 25 x 15cm (6in) - handle length: 90cm (35in).
The rose fork, with its narrow head and two sturdy tines, is a precision tool designed to loosen, cultivate, and work the soil deeply on small surfaces. It is well suited for working clay or heavy and compact soils. It allows for soil aeration without turning it over, simply by penetrating the two tines. Unlike a spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not cut through earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. It can be used to uproot weeds, which can simply be removed. The rose fork can also be used to dig and scrape the soil surface. This rose fork consists of a natural ash handle, known for its hardness, with a metal ferrule where the forged head is attached, made of toughened steel resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion thanks to the boron steel finish. The T-shaped handle and the two 'stepping' points located at the top of the head, enhance the force: they provide support for driving the head into the soil. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.
The traditional De Pypere range includes high-quality tools, all forged from steel, equipped with ash handles. The boron steel coating on the blades is very hard and resistant, making it a valuable material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.
This tool is under warranty. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips, only to the metal parts except for consumables (screws, springs, etc.) and within the scope of normal use.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
