Lawn fertiliser with cyanamide from Masso

The Masso Garden Lawn Fertiliser with Cyanamide is a "two-in-one" fertiliser. This product has a specific composition that provides all the necessary nutrients for the proper development of the lawn. The presence of calcium cyanamide, which raises the soil pH, creates an unfavourable environment for the establishment and growth of moss, which prefers moist and acidic soils with a low pH. It is available in powder form for spreading. Use it for regular maintenance, applying 30 g per 1 m² if your lawn is invaded by moss.

This mineral fertiliser comes from inert materials such as certain rocks and contains synthetic chemical compounds. In particular, it contains calcium cyanamide, known for its anti-moss properties when used properly, mainly due to its alkalizing action on garden soil. This chemical compound limits the establishment and proliferation of moss, especially in lawns planted on moist, clayey, acidic soils. This formulation contains mineral nutrients that are easily and quickly assimilated by plant roots. Its formulation is as follows: N.P.K. 16-3-6+ (36% CaO, 26% SO3). Including 66.5% of nitrogen in the form of calcium cyanamide. This means that it contains:

• Total nitrogen (N) at a rate of 16%: this element contributes to the development of non-reproductive aerial parts of the plant, especially leaves and stems. It is therefore a major component for beautiful lawns.
• Total phosphorus (P) at a rate of 3%, which strengthens plant resistance and contributes to root development.
• Total potassium (K) at a rate of 6%: essential for good harvests, it promotes flowering and fruit development.
• Iron sulfate (SO3) at a rate of 26%.
• Calcium cyanamide CaCN₂

Uses: 2 applications are necessary to eliminate moss: 1 in autumn and 1 in spring. Complete these 2 applications by scarifying your lawn with a rake or scarifier to remove dead moss.

• Spread the anti-moss lawn fertiliser on a damp and short-cut lawn.
• Spread using a manual spreader or a spreader cart, not on a windy day.
• Water the treated areas abundantly to accelerate the fertiliser's diffusion and avoid walking on the lawn for the next 4/5 days.

Dosage: 20 to 30 g / m²
