Crushed horn is an organic fertiliser of animal origin, rich in nitrogen, with a slow, progressive and lasting release, suitable for all crops. This base fertiliser is used at planting, during soil preparation in autumn, when repotting, or for maintenance by simply spreading it at the base of trees, bushes, and on the lawn. Crushed horn comes from abattoir waste and is naturally rich in nitrogen. It contains 13% nitrogen but also releases a little phosphate (P), potash (K), and a small amount of magnesia (MgO). This product degrades slowly under the action of soil microorganisms and thus has a fertilising effect spread over time, over a year or even several years.

Dried blood is an organic fertiliser particularly rich in nitrogen used to stimulate vegetation. Its diffusion in the soil is fast, giving it a "boost" effect. Due to its nitrogen richness, it is particularly suitable for leafy vegetable cultivation and works wonders in spring to make the lawn green again. Dried blood is also a byproduct of abattoirs that poses no risk to plants. It contains 12% nitrogen, but dried blood also contains iron, which plays an important role in plant photosynthesis. Blood is complementary to crushed horn, which releases nitrogen gradually into the soil.

Crushed horn and dried blood are products that can be used in Organic Agriculture in accordance with EC regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008.
