Plants received in good condition. I planted them, but they need to be monitored as their growth was small upon arrival, and I hope they will establish well.

Description

Perennials, highly valued in gardens, columbines require a light, humus-rich soil that does not lack moisture, where they colonise the ground with their spontaneous self seeding. They can tolerate heavy soils, but do not live there for very long. Some alpine varieties are difficult to cultivate.

This hybrid has large pure white flowers with long spurs. An ideal plant for a white garden. Note that the colours of self seeded plants are completely faithful to the variety.
