We received an email informing us that the quality of the plants was not good and we could get a refund or accept the delivery. I chose a refund, but the plants still arrived. Luckily, the plants seem to be recovering! Good customer service.

Description

Aubrieta 'Bressingham Red' is a floriferous perennial, forming carpets of carmine red flowers during spring. The rest of the year, its evergreen leaves will continue to adorn the garden. It is ideal for rockeries or groundcover.

Aubrieta 'Bressingham Red' is a low-growing perennial with a compact habit, reaching a maximum height of 15 cm (6in) and a spread of 50 cm (20in). Its evergreen leaves, slightly silver-green in colour, are ovate in shape. They taper to a point and have roughly serrated margins. In spring, between April and May, it will be adorned with larger flowers than its counterparts, forming a carmine red carpet. A sight not to be missed after winter.

Easy to grow and with good hardiness, -20°C (1°F), it thrives in light, moist, fertile, and well-drained soil, and also tolerates limestone soil. It is perfect for rockeries, walls, borders, and paving, and prefers sunny positions. It pairs well with stipas, poppies, or geraniums.
