Disappointed with this delivery. The plants received were not very fresh. The variegated aubrieta did not survive.

Description

Aubrieta 'Dr Mules Variegated' is a short-lived  very floriferous perennial, which will delight flower garden enthusiasts. It offers you carpets of purple flowers on the edges of flower beds or rockeries during spring. Its variegated leaves will continue to enhance the borders for the rest of the year.

Aubrieta 'Dr Mules Variegated' is a low-growing perennial, not exceeding 10 cm (4in) in height. It has small evergreen green leaves, marginated with cream white. They are ovate in shape, with roughly serrated margins, ending in a point. During the spring months from March to May, this carpet of leaves will be covered in purple flowers with yellow centres.  An event not to be missed in your rockeries, walls or paving during spring.

Easy to grow and with hardy to -15°C (5°F), it thrives in light, moist, fertile and well-drained soil, and also enjoys a chalky soil. Ideal for rockeries, walls, flower bed edges, and paving, it prefers a sunny position. Peonies, poppies, and geraniums are good companions.
