Baptisia is a close cousin of lupins, still little known in Europe. It is a beautiful perennial plant with a very robust stump allowing it to live for a long time in our gardens, but it establishes itself slowly. Very tolerant of limestone, it appreciates light and well-drained soils, even those that are dry in summer. A true all-terrain plant, it loves full sun and blooms abundantly in late spring. It is a perennial highly sought-after by florists across the Atlantic for its stiff and well-supported flowers.

You'll love them!
