The brunneras, known as Caucasian forget-me-nots, are excellent shade-loving perennials that produce a haze of blue or white flowers in spring. Its green foliage is variegated with silver, white, yellow or cream in some varieties. They are round, deciduous and are sensitive to the sun, this is especially true for white variegated varieties.
