Our range of Pompom Chrysanthemums. In autumn, their small blooms of all colours offer very double flowers, in compact inflorescences which form a magnificent bouquet. These varieties of Chrysanthemums are very popular with florists, and are traditionally associated with All Saints' Day and the decoration of graves. Resulting from cross-breeding between the species Chrysanthemum indicum and C. morifolium, native to China and Japan, Chrysanthemum hortorum has produced a great number of cultivars. It is a perennial bushy plant with a rounded habit and fragile stems whose flowers represent almost the entire spectrum of colours, from the most refined to the most vibrant, except for true blue and true black.

Pompom Chrysanthemums are planted in spring, in flowerbeds, borders and pots, and their flowers are well suited for making bouquets. Not very hardy, these perennial plants are most often grown as annuals. Rather easy to cultivate, they like the sun and rich, light soils and are more sensitive to excess water than to temporary drought.
