Description

Floriferous herbaceous perennials which are always noticeable in the garden. We know that plants grown in small pots with only one stem, often give poor results when planted, so we grow them for an additional year, in larger pots to encourage branching and promote better establishment.

Note: From March to September, the stems of our delphiniums are pruned short to encourage better branching and achieve optimal root development. This also prevents the stems from breaking during transportation.

Planting and care

Delphiniums are fairly easy to grow but dislike heavy and wet soils, as well as dry and poor soils. The soil that suits them is fertile soil, rich in humus, non-compact, moist, even in summer, but not excessively wet in winter, and sheltered from strong winds. Under these conditions, they will live for many years. Be wary of slugs and snails that can cause damage at the beginning of growth.
