Description

Perennial, floriferous herbaceous plants, always noticeable in a garden. Plants grown in small pots with only one stem often give poor results when planted, so we grow them for an additional year in larger pots to encourage branching and promote better establishment in the garden.

Wide flowers in a very pretty soft blue with grey and pink reflections and a dark brown eye.

Note: From March to September, the stems of our delphiniums are pruned short to encourage better branching of the crown and achieve optimal rooting. This also prevents the stems from breaking during transportation.

Planting and care

Delphiniums are not difficult to grow but dislike heavy and wet or dry and poor soils. The soil that suits them is fertile, rich in humus, non-compact, moist, even in summer, but not excessively wet in winter, and sheltered from strong winds. Under these conditions, they will live for many years. Beware of slugs and snails that can cause damage at the beginning of growth.
