The Bleeding Hearts enchant gardens with their white and pink heart-shaped flowers. Splendid perennials that combine delicacy and grace with their finely cut foliage. They grow in damp and shaded areas but can tolerate sunny exposure with a good layer of mulch in summer. Do not move them! If they remain in one place for a long period of time, their growth will flourish. Also known as Dicentra spectabilis and often used in herb gardens, they will have a beautiful effect in pots on a shaded terrace. There are also superb ground cover species, such as Dicentra formosa and Dicentra eximia 'King of Hearts'.

You'll love them!
