Description

Dicentra Stuart Boothman is a bleeding heart ground cover with greyish green leaves, cut like a fern leaf. Its pale pink flowers bloom from May to September. During hot weather, their foliage disappears and they go into dormancy. To prevent early "disappearance" and allow for extended flowering, the soil should remain moist in summer, rich in humus, well-drained, and shaded.

Hardy and easy to grow, Dicentra Stuart Boothman can be planted at the edge of a flower bed, along a shaded path, or under large bushes, in a cool environment. Plant it alongside bulbs: Tulips, grape hyacinths, or hyacinths mixed with perennial ground covers: Euphorbia cyparissias, Caucasian forget-me-nots, coral bells, and foamflowers.

Most bleeding hearts go into dormancy in late spring, but this does not have negative consequences for the plant
