Our Range of Cinerarias. These plants with silvery, fuzzy foliage are well represented by Dusty Miller 'Silver Dust'. Grown as perennials or annuals, depending on the region, they make excellent companions for neighbouring plants. The most well-known is Senecio cinerariadusty miller, widely used in seasonal containers and flower beds. Its finely cut leaves, covered with a whitish fuzz, create an interesting contrast with the colourful flowers of summer borders and florist's chrysanthemums in autumn.
Cineraria or Senecio cineraria var. candicans 'Angel Wings' offers broad, thick, silky, almost white leaves. This superb plant works equally well in the ground or in containers on a patio. You can also find Senecio vira-vira, another cineraria with fuzzy, silvery foliage that can reach 80 cm in height and adds height to flower beds.

Cinerarias appreciate well-drained, rather poor soil and dislike excess winter moisture. A sunny exposure enhances the silvery colour of the foliage. In cold regions, they are often grown as annuals, but can behave as perennials in mild climates. In summer, moderate watering is sufficient, and it's advisable to remove faded flowers to prolong the decorative effect of the foliage.
