Description

Erodium Bishop's Form is a beautiful perennial for dry and poor soil, with pink flowers veined with purple resembling perennial geraniums, ideal for rock gardens.

Easy to grow, this hardy perennial is hardy to -20°C (-4°F).  It has a cushion habit and develops medium green, deciduous leaves, 2cm (1in) long, which are dentate. From May to August, solitary, single, pink cup-shaped flowers veined with purple, 1cm (0.5in) in diameter cover the foliage.

Erodium Bishop's Form grows in full sun, in well-drained soil. It is a plant for scree, it tolerates both drought and cold, but not wet soil in winter.

Cultivation in a pot is possible in a mix of equal parts compost, garden soil and gravel. Plant Erodium in a rock garden, combined with stipa, sedums, oregano or in the cracks of walls, where it will cascade.
