My benoite has grown well (tripled in size) despite a sandy and infertile soil. It has been in the ground for 2 years and blooms intensely in spring, it's one of my best perennial purchases.

Description

Geum 'Prinses Juliana' is a lovely avens. The double flowers are a beautiful bright orange delicately shaded with yellow. The blooms rise slightly above the foliage.

Avens are perennial plants that are very easy to grow. They bloom abundantly over an extended period, especially if you take the time to refresh the plant by removing faded flowers. They are perfect for border plantings.

The fiery colour of Geum 'Prinses' Juliana provides joyful combinations in the garden that you can enjoy for many months. They are short-lived plants, but are greatly appreciated for the vibrancy they bring to the garden.
