Planting and care

To plant your perennial Geranium sanguineums, work the soil to a depth of 20 cubic cm, crumbling the soil well and adding a bottom dressing such as dried blood or dehydrated horn. Position your young plant, removed from its pot, covering the top of the root ball with 3cm (1in) of soil. Fill in the hole and water generously to eliminate any air pockets. In dry weather, it is necessary to water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root establishment.
