Our range of shrubby heathers. Some varieties can reach impressive sizes, like Erica arborea 'Alpina', the tree heather, which forms a large evergreen bush of 2 to 3 m, covered in highly fragrant white bells. It comes in varieties such as ‘Pink Joy’, with soft pink flowering, or ‘Albert’s Gold’, remarkable for its golden foliage. More hardy, Erica lusitanica flowers from winter in pinkish-white on a dense bush of about 2 metres. Erica australis, with a more compact habit, offers lilac-pink flowering from March to June. Erica terminalis is tolerant of limestone and flowers in summer. finally, Erica multiflora brightens autumn with its bright pink flowers in Mediterranean scrublands.
Shrubby heathers structure flower beds in a very natural way. All appreciate a sunny exposure and a light soil, without stagnant moisture. Once well-rooted, they tolerate drought.
