pPhysostegia are hardy, vigorous, and easy to grow plants. Physostegia should be planted in the sun in moist and well-drained soil. The pink or white flower spikes, depending on the variety, measure about 12 cm (5in) and are carried by quadrangular stems up to 60 cm (24in) tall. The flowers are suitable for making rural-style cut flower arrangements.
