Description

Originally from Sichuan, Salvia omeiana grows in the illuminated undergrowth of medium altitude on Mount Emei in China. This bushy species thrives in rich and fresh humus soils.

Nothing distinguishes it from any other herbaceous sage with yellow flowers except for its leaves. The foliage is green on the top, with almost black undersides.

Planted on a bank or raised on a wall, this delicate sage will transform into a true botanical gem.
