The tricyrtis or Toad Lily is a hardy perennial plant with exotic-looking flowers. The flowering period lasts from August until the first frosts, and its numerous clusters of flowers closely resemble orchids. The tricyrtis is an easy plant to grow. Plant it in a shady spot in moist, rich, but well-drained soil. This plant will pair well with hakonechloas and hostas.
