Rosa Easy Fashion - Climbing Rose

The 'Easy Fashion' climbing rose combines the charm of old-fashioned roses with the floribundity and resilience of modern large-flowered roses of the new generation. This original rose, full of qualities, is also distinguished by the delicious fruity fragrance of its large, very double flowers, deep pink striped with pale pink and white. They bloom for 4 to 5 months, in successive waves, on a vigorous bush, which is also suitable for creating large flowering hedges. Its magnificent scented roses are perfect for bouquets.

The 'Easy Fashion' or 'Nirpow' can be trained as a climber or grown as a large free-standing bush. It belongs to the complex family of old hybrid teas known as large-flowered roses. It is a recent creation. It is a climbing rose with an intense vigour. It has a flexible habit and thorny stems, often reaching 2.50m (8ft) in height and 1m (3ft) to 1.20m (4ft) in spread, depending on the growing conditions. Its deciduous foliage, dark green and shiny, is exceptionally healthy and perfectly highlights the flowers' variegated pink and white colour. It blooms from June to October, abundantly if not short of water. Its large 13cm (5in) roses, grouped in bouquets of 6 to 8 units, are composed of 40 petals arranged in an informal rosette. Its pronounced fragrance will be classified in the fruity category, with citrus and red fruit notes.

With its old-fashioned charm, this modern Easy Fashion rose deserves a wall exposed to the morning sun or a structure large enough to support its shower of flowers. It allows for sumptuous decorations throughout the summer period and requires very little maintenance, except for regular watering in summer in case of high heat and prolonged drought. As a structural element of 'English-style' gardens, rose arches form beautiful shelters where one can rest while connecting different parts of the garden. Mix climbing roses or combine them with easy-to-grow large-flowered clematis such as 'Etoile Violette', Montana Mayleen or Broughton Star. When allowed to grow freely, Easy Fashion forms a large bush that will also find its place in a sizeable flowering hedge, in the company of lilacs, tamarisks, or other shrub roses such as R.Californica Plena, R.hugonis, Iceberg or Madame Isaac Pereire.
