Thanks to Jenny for order preparation and Clothilde from the shipping department, the rose bush I received looks healthy. Planted near the "Border Pink" and "The Fairy" varieties, I am now patiently waiting for it to take root... (or not?)" Analysis of the translated text: - The translation is accurate and conveys the intended meaning of the original text. - The specific research area "préparation de commande" is translated as "order preparation". - The word "rosier" is translated as "rose bush" to maintain the botanical context. - The word "variétés" is translated as "varieties". - The phrase "j'attends maintenant patiemment la reprise...(ou pas ?)" is translated as "I am now patiently waiting for it to take root... (or not?)" to capture the tone and uncertainty expressed in the original text.

Description

The Rosebush 'Rush' is a modern rosebush with grouped flowers that will seduce botanical rose enthusiasts with its charming, exuberant and unpretentious appearance. It is so well composed that it is often chosen for landscaping green spaces. With its abundant, disease-free vegetation and its large bouquets of pink wild roses with white hearts, delicately dusted with pink at the end of flowering, this vigorous and stunning bush deserves a prime spot in the garden, superb and audacious when planted alone or integrated into a flowering hedge, even in hot climates.

The Rosebush 'Rush' or 'lenmobri' is a beautiful Belgian creation by Lens, dating back to 1983, awarded a silver medal in Baden-Baden at the International Rose Competition. It belongs to the floribunda rose category, with flowers grouped in large clusters at the ends of young shoots. This fast-growing variety quickly forms a dense, upright bush with numerous particularly spiny stems that originate from the base and fan out. It will reach about 1.6m (5ft) in height and 1.4m (5ft) in width, with a cone-shaped silhouette that is unique to it. It is covered in glossy, medium green, disease-resistant foliage. It flowers abundantly from June to October-November, sometimes even in December in mild climates. Its corollas are wide, measuring 5 to 6 cm (2in), with single, 5-petaled flowers gathered in clusters of numerous flowers. Their colour is a fresh pink, more or less vibrant depending on the season and temperature, surrounding a white centre. The colour of the flowers evolves from very light pink to a more intense shade. They are fragrance-free. Note that 'Rush' performs very well in hot and dry climates, with a few generous and spaced-out waterings.

The Rosebush 'Rush' has some flaws, like its lack of fragrance and branches covered in thorns. However, these are minor compared to its remarkable characteristics. It's a beautiful and self-sufficient variety of roses that looks great when planted in groups of three arranged in a triangle. It can thrive on a large embankment or a sad lawn, holding its own against the surroundings. To complement it, you can plant other sturdy and floriferous roses like 'Rosy', 'La Sevillana', and 'Denise Grey', and use various ground covers from 'The Fairy' series. 'Rush' can also be integrated into a cosmopolitan flowerbed, composed of pink daylilies, 'Complicata' roses, small abelias, mock oranges, perovskias, and Miscanthus ... Floribunda roses allow for the creation of beautiful hedges, planted in a mix along a path, highlighting a small sunken path or even trailing down a stone wall.

Planting and care

If you want to plant the 'Rush' Rose or 'Lenmobri', it's best to do it between November and March. Choose soil that's ordinary, well-fertilised, well-prepared, and well-drained. Roses usually like heavier clayey soils. If the soil is too sandy, compact, or dry during summer, add compost or well-rotted manure to the soil when planting. However, avoid waterlogged soil in winter as it can harm the rose. Put the rose in a sunny spot or partial shade in hot climates. Roses need to be fed regularly with specific fertiliser throughout flowering, especially during the start of vegetation.

Roses may develop unsightly spots at the end of summer, but this is a natural occurrence and doesn't harm the rose's growth.

They should always be pruned above an outward-facing bud so the bush fills out and the twigs do not become tangled in the centre. This variety can be pruned short at the end of winter.

Soil moisture Moist soil
Disease resistance Very good
Overwinter Can be left in the ground
