The evergreen coastal hedge is made up of evergreen bushes, which keep their leaves even in winter, selected for their resistance to wind, spray, and salty soils of the coast, particularly difficult conditions for plants. Our range has a wide choice of plants to create your evergreen coastal hedge, including great classics like the Griselinia littoralis, Elaeagnus ebbingei or the Pittosporum tobira, but also others, less known like the Escallonia or the persistent ceanothuses. This type of hedge forms a windbreak and privacy screen while protecting garden plants that are more sensitive to maritime conditions. It can be planted in coastal areas, preferably installing the plants in two rows, staggered, to increase its width and therefore its effectiveness. Whether pruned or untrimmed, tall, medium or low, flowering and fragrant, you will find the bushes that are suitable for your coastal garden in our selection.
