Our selection of dwarf beeches, compact and decorative trees that integrate more easily into small gardens. Fagus sylvatica 'Mercedes' is remarkable for its reduced size (2 m) and its very fine, bright green, cut foliage. Among the famous varieties, the dwarf beech 'Purpurea Nana' is another exceptional variety, with its purple leaves that add a unique touch of colour to your garden. The Rohan Weeping’ variety is distinguished by its compact weeping habit and its crinkled, purple leaves. It reaches only 3 m in height with a 2.50 m spread at maturity. Also to discover is the weeping beech 'Tortuosa', appreciated for its twisted branches and its green foliage, creating a sculptural effect.

Like all beeches, these small cultivars like partial shade and gentle sun, and prefer cool and temperate climates. The soil must be moist and well-drained and always have a constant level of humidity, as they do not tolerate drought.
