This polished linen twine from La Cordeline, made from 100% natural smooth linen fibre, is particularly strong. This highly versatile garden and household accessory, which can be used in the garden or at home, is perfect for tying in, binding, staking, training, knotting, wrapping, sewing, as well as aligning vegetable crops using a string. It is available in a 500g ball with a length of approximately 100m (328ft) and a diameter of 3.5 mm (0in). Natural colour.

Linen comes from flax, a beautiful plant cultivated since ancient times for its many qualities, now being rediscovered. In addition to its legendary strength, linen charms us with its natural aspect and rustic style. Linen twine is biodegradable, has high mechanical strength, is difficult to burn, and is resistant to abrasion and humidity. To make this twine, several linen threads are assembled and then twisted in the opposite direction to the original twist of each thread. Unbleached and uncoloured, this La Cordeline twine has the light brown colour of raw linen fibre. Mechanical polishing, which removes its roughness, gives it a beautiful smooth appearance, allows for pleasant use, and reduces the risk of knotting.

A versatile item: use not only in the garden, but also in floral art, in crafts, DIY, decoration, packaging, for creative hobbies, sewing and upholstery. It can be cut using a good pair of scissors, a sharp knife or a cutter.

Your ball of linen twine will always be in the pocket of your gardening jacket, being pulled out in the vegetable garden to stake tomatoes, tie in climbing beans, cucumbers and raspberries, in the ornamental garden to tie up a wayward vine, and in the orchard to support a branch laden with fruit, for example, as it holds the most delicate stems without causing harm. Linen twine can also be used in sewing to make very strong seams on jute fabric, for example.

Approximate length 100m (328ft), diameter 3.5 mm (0in).
