Black winter cover for clean soil 1.2 x 5 m (16ft)

This black NETSOL winter cover keeps the soil clean by preventing weed growth in winter. It is therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical weeding before planting. It also helps to warm the soil, creating a favourable environment for spring sowing and planting. Equipped with eyelets every metre and delivered with 12 serrated pegs, it is easy to set up. The NETSOL sheet, coextruded in polyethylene with a density of 90g/m², is 100% waterproof and opaque, allowing neither water nor light to pass through. It has a finishing hem all around. When laid in autumn or after a crop on perfectly weeded and prepared soil, it prevents the appearance of 'weeds'. Simply remove it to be able to sow or plant in spring, in already clean soil. It is black so it absorbs the sun's heat and releases it to the soil, allowing for early spring crops. It is important to securely fasten this sheet to the ground so that the wind cannot get underneath and lift it. Once in place, the serrated plastic fixing pegs should be inserted into the eyelets provided for this purpose: they will firmly anchor it to the ground. This winter sheet will also prevent the leaching of uncultivated soils by protecting them from rain and wind. It is a very useful device in the vegetable garden.
