Hemp Mulch Roll 700g

This hemp fibre mulch roll provides effective and natural protection for young trees and bushes against cold in winter, slows down the evaporation of watering in summer, and limits the growth of "weeds" that compete with their roots and hinder their growth. It is a 100% natural and biodegradable product, which decomposes into humus in about two years. It can be placed at the base of plantations, both in open ground and in pots.

This mulch is composed solely of hemp grown in Burgundy, without pesticides, and processed in the same region. The natural hemp fibres are bound together by water under high pressure, through a hydro-binding process. This felt is guaranteed to be free of binders, adhesives, or petro-sourced additives.

The hemp mulch can be used in open ground and pots, in ornamental gardens, orchards, and vegetable gardens. It helps protect young trees and bushes from nighttime frost, prevents weed germination and growth, maintains root freshness, saves on watering, and enriches the soil with slow decomposition.

Installation of hemp mulch:

Weed the soil around the base of the plants or on the well-prepared and cultivated plot and water it so that the soil remains moist before installing the felt. The mulch roll is fixed to the ground using staples, either as a whole piece or cut into squares, depending on the needs. Create cross-shaped openings that will allow you to plant the young subjects, then replace the edges of the felt around the base of the plant.
