This large MAXIZIP cover effectively protects a plant, as well as its pot. It is made of a very thick winter fleece that insulates from the cold and wind, but allows light, air, and water to pass through. It is easy to install and opens and closes easily thanks to a side zip that runs the full height. A cord is also provided to tighten it at the base of the plant. This very thick non-woven polypropylene winter cover with a density of 100g/m² provides excellent thermal insulation while allowing light to filter through. It has the appearance of a thick, rigid, white honeycomb fabric, but it is a non-biodegradable material that has been treated to withstand the UV rays of the sun for several winters. It acts as a barrier against the elements and creates a favourable microclimate by retaining the heat accumulated during the day around the plant. With a zip closure that allows it to be fully opened, this protection can be easily placed around the plant and its pot. This easy opening/closing also allows for ventilation or watering at the best times of the day. Once in place, it will be easy to tighten it at the base of the plant using the provided cord. The permeable texture of this winter fleece ensures air circulation, which limits the accumulation of moisture produced by evergreen foliage that continues to breathe in winter.
