Daffodils or jonquils (they are the same plant!) are spring flowering bulbs that can be planted in both partial shade and full sun. They also look wonderful in bouquets when brought indoors in spring. Plant them in clusters of colours or mix them according to your preference. Their flowering period ranges from February-March to May, and they can grow to heights of 15 to 50cm (6 to 20in), depending on the variety. They are particularly robust and tolerant, able to withstand slightly heavy and damp soils, and will come back to bloom for many springs as they easily naturalize. The most resilient varieties are botanical, derived from wild daffodils, such as the poet's daffodil; for pot cultivation, opt for mini-daffodils. For mass planting, take advantage of our offers in large quantities (250 bulbs). For sophisticated compositions, consider double-flowered daffodils

You'll adore them!
