Planting and care

Plant your tulips and daffodils as soon as possible in well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 15 cm (bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs a few centimetres apart, ensuring they don't touch each other. Choose a sunny position for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stems and allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them. After flowering, their foliage becomes faded and unsightly; we recommend planting Heucheras, Tiarellas, Brunneras, Bleeding Hearts, Euphorbia cyparissias in the foreground of your borders - their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips and during the season, they will elegantly conceal their yellowed leaves.
