Blue color and not pink, another mistake! Last year, same issue with fringed and botanical tulips, two orders and two errors on the varieties. I will not order bulbs from you anymore. Done.

Description

Hyacinthoides hispanica Rosea, also known as pink campanulate scilla, Spanish scilla, and Spanish bluebell, is a perennial bulbous plant that blooms from April to May. Graceful and slender, it forms a clump of narrow, glossy dark green leaves, adorned with floral stems of pale-pink bell-shaped flowers. This ground-covering plant can reach a height of 35cm (14in) at maturity.

Easy to grow, it is hardy down to -15°C (5°F). It appreciates moist but well-drained soil that is rich in humus. It likes a sunny exposure to flower, but lightly shaded woodland can also be suitable.

Plant your bulbs in borders, rockeries, or even in pots. They produce a dazzling effect when grouped at the base of a forsythia bush.

Please note that the bulb of this variety is highly toxic. Do not consume!

Planting and care

It thrives in both full sun and partial shade. Place the bulbs in moist but well-drained soil in autumn, at a depth of 10cm (4in) and with 8cm (3in) spacing. For a more beautiful effect, plant them in groups of 10 or 15. Leave the plants in place for several years to achieve a better carpeting effect.
