Delivered quickly and planted immediately along the edge of the pond. I am eagerly awaiting the flowering. The young plant looked lovely upon arrival. I am pleased.

Not all the young plants ordered have survived... the heat... the drought... I watered them though... not an easy year for gardening.

Have not held up, following the intense summer heat.

No leaf, just a villous shoot...

Looking stunning by the edge of my waterfall, I will be testing out other varieties.

I ordered some peach blossom astilbes, second year of planting, and they are very beautiful and well-developed. I am very pleased.

Leaf received in good condition. It languished last year to the point where I thought it hadn't taken at all (placed in a partially shaded to shaded area, in humus-bearing and moist soil). Finally, it seems to be emerging this year with a few leaves poking their noses out. So, we'll see if this young Astilbe finally establishes itself...
