A perennial plant that is very trendy, Pennisetum is appreciated for its wild and structuring aspect. It thrives in sunny or semi-shaded areas with rich and well-draining soil. The most popular variety is Pennisetum alopecuroides, a hardy perennial that can withstand various growing conditions.
