Our range of Eugenia or Australian Myrtles. These are evergreen bushes with dense and glossy foliage. Discover the Eugenia myrtifolia ‘New Port’, a compact variety with red shoots that produces small white flowers followed by edible berries. It works wonders in hedges or grown in a pot on the terrace. The Eugenia myrtifolia ‘Compacta’ is perfect for topiaries or borders. Its slow growth and easy maintenance make it ideal for small spaces. The Eugenia ‘Etna Fire’, nicknamed Surinam Cherry, charms with its ruby-red shoots and edible berries. The Eugenia paniculata (Syzygium paniculatum), on the other hand, offers an elegant habit, fine foliage, and white flowers in panicles. This variety is perfect for structuring a flower bed or creating a green screen.
In hedges, topiaries, or grown in pots, Australian Myrtles captivate with their colorful shoots in urban or coastal gardens. These bushes, closely related to the Myrtle, thrive in sunny exposures, well-drained soil, and should be protected from severe frost.
