The chrysanthemums are perennial plants, with summer or autumn flowering, belonging to the asteraceae family. This genus, extensively studied by botanists, has recently been "split" into several genera. Regardless of its final name, this plant remains, for many gardeners, a very good way to obtain color late in the season, with numerous hybrids and cultivars varying in shades from peach to white, to pink, purple, and garnet. Easy to grow, chrysanthemums love the sun and rich, light soils. They are very sensitive to excess water and tolerate heavy soils moderately.

You'll love them!
