Discover our selection of evergreen bushes suitable for planting by the sea! In this environment, plants are subjected to harsh conditions: they must endure strong winds, which are frequent throughout the year, combined with sea spray, loaded with salt, which tends to worsen dehydration. All this is often accompanied by intense sunlight.
But don't worry, there are many candidates: you have plenty of choices, including the Pittosporum tobira, the Griselinia littoralis or the autumn olive for large windbreak hedges that retain their foliage, and the (aptly named!) maritime pine or the umbrella pine for trees.
As for flowering bushes, you can also plant the classic mimosa (Acacia dealbata, not in the front line though), or the equally famous oleander (Nerium oleander) to create a spectacular display... In a pot, Escallonia 'Pink Elle' will work wonders, and the Coprosma will also bring colour with their flamboyant foliage!

You'll adore them!
