The Raspberry bush - Rubus idaeus - is a bush cultivated for its small red, and now sometimes golden, berries. Plant your raspberry bushes in partial shade or in a sunny orchard in humus-rich soil, then stake them for an abundant harvest. Whether evergreen or not, they require pruning after fruiting. Raspberry sorbets, coulis, pies or fresh raspberries are all yours. Raspberry bushes grown in good conditions produce many suckers that can be split and replanted a little further away for even more indulgence.
