Our range of Camellia sasanqua. These bushes differ from Camellia japonica because they flower in autumn and often have a more flexible habit. The highly popular Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide' offers single, bright red flowers with golden centres from November, set against dark green evergreen foliage. Camellia sasanqua 'Variegata' displays elegant variegated cream foliage and single pale pink flowers. The refined and compact variety, 'Narumi Gata', is adorned with slightly wavy white flowers edged with pink. Charming and fragrant 'Fukusutsumi' captivates with its semi-double light pink flowers with golden centres. 'Yume', whose name means "dream," offers large, slightly fragrant, white flowers washed with soft pink from October. Also discover 'Kanjiro', which boasts abundant flowering in bright carmine pink, highly visible in late autumn.

These camellias reach between 1.50 and 3 m in height with a spread of 1 to 2 m. They thrive in light, well-drained, non-calcareous soil, in morning sun or partial shade. In mild climates, plant them in the ground; in harsher climates, pot cultivation with winter protection is essential.

Their early autumn flowering, often fragrant, makes them valuable in partially shaded gardens, as an informal hedge or specimen.

You'll adore them!
