Discover our selection of small-sized grasses, not exceeding 50 cm (20in) in height, which are well adapted to the ornamentation of borders, flowerbeds, and sunny planters. Carex, blue fescues (Festuca Glauca Elijah Blue), dwarf fountain grasses (Pennisetum), are all grasses which are perennial, low-growing, and hardy ornamentals. Their natural and wild appearance brings lightness to the garden and they require very little maintenance. The Carex are not strictly speaking grasses, but this group of plants is closely related to them in terms of garden use. Low-growing grasses with evergreen foliage, such as Hakonechloa macra and Japanese grass, form beautiful green borders around perennial flowerbeds or bushes and lovely pots in all seasons. Depending on the species, they will adapt to different climates, soils, and exposures.

You'll adore them!
