Bell PepperCapsicum annuum – from the Solanaceae family are a sweet pepper - Sweet pepper or Sweet pepper from Spain - grown in vegetable gardens for their large, cubic, hollow fruit that consumed as a vegetable. As they require a lot of heat and light, their seeds should be sown in warm mini-greenhouses or pots indoors at the same time as aubergines, tomatoes or peppers from February to April. Once any risk of frosts is over, transfer your plants into the ground. Peppers are a concentrate of vitamins – particularly vitamin C and pro-vitamin A – and are the quintessential summer vegetable.

You'll love them!
