Organic Turnips

The Organic Turnip - Brassica rapa - is an ancient biennial root vegetable that is being rediscovered for its delicate, slightly sweet, and sometimes spicy flavour. 'White Globe with Violet Collar', 'Golden Ball', 'from Milan', or 'Hammer' Turnip : all these varieties, more or less early, are available in Organic. Certified AB for Organic Agriculture, these seeds are obtained without pesticide or chemical fertilizer. Easy to grow and not demanding, you will sow your turnip seeds in a sunny position and in loose, moist, and humus-rich soil. They can even be grown in raised beds!
