Organic Aubergines

The Abergine - Solanum melongena - is a summer vegetable-fruit. You will sow these organic and certified AB (obtained without treatment) seeds or plant these in soil that has been previously enriched with compost, the ultimate natural fertiliser. Often deep purple, the aubergine reveals itself in various shapes and colours: sometimes white like the Round White Aubergine, pink like the Rotonda Bianca Sfumata Di Rosa Aubergine, or black like the Black Beauty Aubergine. Easy to grow, the aubergine, like the tomato and the chilli pepper, nevertheless requires heat and brightness. It also needs a lot of water.
