Gauras are graceful perennials that bring lightness and movement to the garden with their delicate, airy flowers. Among our range of pink gauras, the most well-known variety is the Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink', prized for its deep pink flowers and abundant, continuous flowering from May to October. The Gaura 'Rosy Jane' stands out with its white flowers edged in bright pink, creating a striking bicolor effect. 'Baby Butterfly Dark Pink' is another popular variety, loved for its bright pink flowers and compact habit, making it ideal for small gardens and borders.
Gauras thrive in sunny locations and well-drained, light, even poor soil. Once established, they are drought-tolerant, making them perfect for low-water gardens. Plant them in spring or autumn, spacing them about 50 cm apart. To prolong flowering, remember to deadhead spent flowers regularly.
