Our Sanvitalia Seeds – For Sunny, Carefree Borders. Perfect companions to zinnias, sanvitalias are creeping annuals that quickly form a flowering cushion throughout the summer. Often called "creeping zinnias," they produce a profusion of small yellow or orange flowers, resembling mini-sunflowers.

The Sanvitalia 'Million Suns' variety is covered with bright yellow flowers with brown centres, over dense foliage. Sanvitalia procumbens 'Orange Sprite' displays small, golden orange daisies. To vary the colours, choose Sanvitalia procumbens 'Aztec Gold', a well-known variety with a trailing habit and bright flowering.

Sanvitalias form clumps 15 to 25 cm tall and spread gracefully. They decorate planters, hanging baskets, rock gardens, and flower bed borders. These annuals appreciate light, well-drained soil in full sun. Sow them between March and May under cover, or directly in the ground from May onwards. With little susceptibility to diseases, sanvitalias are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance.
