Linarias or toadflaxes are deciduous perennials with very fast growth that grow everywhere. They are easy to grow, these plants are liked for their light gray-green foliage and long clusters of flowers with spurs from June to September. For better flowering, Linarias prefer sandy, fertile, fresh and well-drained soils where they will self-seed. Used in borders, they will enhance your rose gardens by adding lightness. Combine Linaria purpurea with climbing clematis for a beautiful flowering effect. In the wild, you can find the Alpine Toadflax or Linaria Alpina with violet-blue flowers and the Common Toadflax or Linaria vulgaris with yellow flowers and an orange spot.

You'll adore them!
